The oriGin Distillery was originally founded in the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site in South Africa. The area is also affectionately known as Maropeng which means ‘returning to the place of origin’ in Setswana and is a location of great archaeological significance.

As the discovery site of some of the oldest human fossils on the planet, it is the perfect location to craft a gin that is authentic, world-class and proudly South African.
